Guidance Through the Financial Aspects of Divorce
Each step is designed to help you better understand your financial situation and support informed decision-making throughout the divorce process, regardless of how stressful circumstances may feel.
-
We begin with a Clarity FirstTM consultation to better understand your financial situation. We review your current financial picture and discuss potential next steps. The goal is to help you gain a clearer understanding of your finances and support informed decision-making as you navigate the divorce process.
-
Once we begin working together, we take time to thoughtfully review your financial information to better understand the story your numbers may reflect. This process is designed to help bring greater clarity to your financial picture, highlight important considerations, and support more informed decision-making during your divorce.
-
Next, we take a deeper look at your financial information to better understand the details and identify any inconsistencies or areas that may warrant further review. This step is designed to help bring additional clarity to your financial picture and highlight important considerations or questions to explore as you move through the divorce process.
-
At this stage, we work with you to evaluate your financial priorities and explore different divorce settlement scenarios based on your goals. Together, we review potential trade-offs, consider how various decisions may impact your financial situation, and identify areas that may be more or less important to you as you move through the divorce process.
-
We work alongside your attorney to provide financial analysis and context related to your situation. This may include helping to clarify the financial and tax considerations associated with different assets or settlement scenarios, so that financial aspects are more fully understood as decisions are made throughout the divorce process.
-
As discussions progress, we support you by reviewing financial proposals and helping you understand how different options may affect your financial situation. We provide analysis and may explore alternative approaches based on your priorities, so you can evaluate your choices and make decisions aligned with what matters most to you.
-
As your divorce process concludes, we work with you to review your financial situation and help you prepare for what comes next. This may include developing a plan and providing ongoing guidance to support informed financial decision-making as your needs evolve over time.
